Anton Uys

Based in Johannesburg, I have paintings in private, corporate and institutional collections in South Africa and abroad. My paintings are mindscapes in a landscape format. It is not the forms of nature that I am after, but rather its processes and its creative power in the mind alone. The landscape takes responsibility and corresponds with the mind; the ideal, the sublime and starts the retreat within.
