When I paint it is something very deep inside me that speaks through the colours and marks. It took me many years to trust the process of intuitive painting and letting go of conditioned ideas about what a 'real' painting should look like. It is about not thinking what the canvass should become and allowing it to develop layer by layer and moment by moment, ever changing. I paint about the human soul and our connection with the Creator. How we grow in our everyday struggles and victories. Each painting is near to my heart but when it is done I let it go.
