I aim at an intensive depiction of the indigenous flora in Southern Africa. The detail reflects an extreme intimacy between myself and the plant or flower. Although the artwork may appear to be a simple representation at first, closer examination reveals the complexity captured in the fine brushwork and personal technique to show the full beauty of nature.
