JJ (KOOS) BRONKHORST

JJ (Koos) Bronkhorst has spent most of his life painting in oils, acrylic and mixed media. He believes in using only the best materials available, and his subject matter includes just about everything. His favourites are landscapes and harbour scenes, although street scenes also fascinate him. He is known for his striking interpretation of moody or turbulent skies. Ignoring trends and the art scene for most of his life, it is only of late that he has started making contact in the broader art circles. His works are in collections all over the world. He has had several successful exhibitions, the most recent at The Leonardo Gallery in Pretoria. He often takes part in group and themed exhibitions.
