SAMANTHA MORGAN

?Poetic, mystical, sensual and instinctive, Samantha's work speaks a primal language that affects us to the core. I work primarily from my sub-conscious with no fixed idea of the finished product. This frees me to follow my intuition and gut feel rather than getting caught up in predetermined ideas of right and wrong. My creation process has translated into an organic flow that forms the basis of all my sculptures, giving each of them a sense of movement that is unique to my work. This sense of movement draws in the play of light and dark on my sculptures. I have invented a hand building technique with clay, which adds to the distinctiveness of my pieces.
