LIEZE MEYER

Raised in the remote parts of Zululand by parents with a deep love for both nature and art, I became aware of colour and shape as well as my environment from a young age. I started painting donkeys because I was inspired by their brave and stoic nature and now donate to a sanctuary. I use neutral colours, which results in a calm, monochromatic look. My primary aim is to show emotion in my work, irrespective of the subject matter. I exhibit annually at various art shows and my work is consistently in several galleries throughout South Africa.
