SHARON SCHAEFER
The heavings of the earth, protrusions and inselbergs are some of the geographic phenomena I find awe inspiring and that I wish to record. My current paintings are romantic landscapes in response to my physcial environment and are usually in large format. My present focus is on the skin of the earth and the atmospheric effects in the mountains and on the high plateaus where I live. I have had one solo exhibition and done various commissions.
