Life is beautiful and this truly is my worldview. I've been taught from a young age to value and appreciate the ordinary and this enjoyment of the everyday beauty of life inspires me. My art is not a mirror image of places and objects but rather an impression. This impressionistic approach allows me the freedom to create paintings filled with possibilities. With bright colours and bold strokes, I can capture the energy and emotions that otherwise often go unnoticed. I'm most complimented by stories of people inspired through my work. My hope is that people who enjoy my art will not only enjoy a particular piece but also enjoy the life that flows from it. People should indeed be moved to celebrate life more and ordinary moments will become extraordinary.
