GORDON HERSMAN

Self-taught painter, working in oils and pencil. Prefers portraits and landscapes in a natural, realistic depiction. Formerly (1982-1996) member of S.A. Medical Arts Society and exhibited annually in group exhibitions. 16 portraits in a permanent collection in the surgery department of WITS University Medical School and works in private collections in S.A., UK, USA, Germany, Australia, Canada, UAE, Egypt and Syria.
