My artwork begins with an idea. I explore the moment and add colour to emotions to expand the meaning of reality. It is a compulsion I cannot suppress as I strive to express my sense of being in a chaotic society.

I am inspired by what I can see, touch and feel. Found objects in my art world represent fragments of a persons life. Collectively they become memories and a depiction of a society. I'm always fascinated by a person's impulse to never walk past beauty and their need to adorn their bodies with different materials to express emotions, identity and status.
