MARY SERRURIER

When I first arrived in the Cape from Rhodesia I was fascinated with the old Cape Dutch farmsteads, the cloud shadows on the mountains and the atmosphere created after the winter rainfall. Landscape painting, in watercolour and oil, is my preferred subject. I am self taught, have had three successful solo exhibitions and am a fellow of the South African Society of Artists. One of my artworks was selected for the Readers Digest and also as a cover for a book published by Juta.
