Sharon Pringle was born in Zambia in 1959. Although she enjoyed art at school, she studied and worked as a physiotherapist until 1993.
Then began the journey of exploration that is art.
Some of the motivating factors for choice of subject matter are - the magic of water and light; reflected light, colouring skin and fabric;
patterns in nature and elegant shapes of musical instruments.
A versatile technique in oil has characterized her work.
